Institutions have implemented teleworking for employees whose physical presence is not deemed mandatory or essential with respect to University operations, including the onsite conduct of classes. This directive will remain in effect until further notice.

The System Office has implemented teleworking arrangements where possible, but remains open and continues to provide services to the constituent institutions during this period of expanded teleworking.

System Office employees may log in to Human Resources System Office COVID-19 Resources to access a variety of resources, including:

  • Memos and guidance sent from various senior leaders to the System Office community
  • Several resources from ComPsych, our employee assistance program
  • Information on and best practices for remote working
  • Information on NC 2-1-1, a phone-based information and referral service that families and individuals can call to obtain free and confidential information on health and human services resources within their community – now with a direct link to state COVID-19 information
