The UNC System Office oversees a number of programs and activities dedicated to faculty employment policies, professional development, faculty evaluation, and faculty benefits. It also serves as the liaison to the UNC Faculty Assembly.
Awards for Excellence in Teaching
The Teaching Awards were established in 1994 to underscore the importance of teaching and to encourage innovation in the classroom. These annual awards identify, recognize, and reward exemplary teaching across the System. Each year, one member of the faculty from each constituent institution receives this honor.
Distinguished Professors Endowment Trust Fund
